My Blog’s 2nd Birthday

This morning is one of those halfway stressful and yet great mornings.

Or maybe I’m just weird.

Anyhow, I found out how late I will sleep in without any input from my alarm. Yesterday, I reset my iPhone settings, and of course forgot to setup my alarm clock. So I didn’t wake up until 7am this morning.

Luckily for me, my boss has given me tons of flexibility (maybe too much) when it comes to my work hours, so after hurriedly getting ready, I stepped out into the long-lost California morning drizzle. The foggy drizzle made the drive to work and the morning great.

Perhaps what made my morning greatest, was the realization that today marked 2-years of blogging for me. When I first started blogging, my simple idea was to write down things I didn’t verbalize – the things I thought or felt but didn’t share. Plus I wanted to remember my exploration through this amazing world. However I never imagined that I would have an active blog 2-years later, much less that I would have any readers.

But I am happy to commemorate my blog’s 2nd birthday.

And I want to thank all my readers who take the time to read the things I write. My readers come from 12 different countries: Ukraine, Austria, U.S., Germany, Canada, Israel, U.K., Malaysia, Philippines, China, France, and Russia. To those that have left comments, I really do appreciate your input and I apologize for not responding. I promise to change that and from now on, I will respond to any comments.

It’s been an interesting and educational couple of years, and I merely hope that whatever transition is apparent in my blog shows that I have become a better person (but I have my doubts).
